Brian Yablon is an experienced information technology executive and entrepreneur with over eighteen years of experience in LAN/WAN architecture, engineering, virtualization, technology leadership, recruiting, & mentorship.

 

Mr. Yablon Joined the New York Life Insurance Company's Corporate Information Department in 1999 after graduating from the University of Miami and was a key member of the company’s elite security engineering team.  He was responsible for implementing and documenting New York Life’s state-of-the-art security solutions including firewalls, proxy servers, and disaster recovery hardware.  He was also involved in forensic investigations involving the company's internal assets.  Mr. Yablon attended several security-specific classes and conferences including SANS 2001 and extensive UNIX & Solaris security and white hat hacking techniques.

 

In 2001, after moving back to South Florida, Mr. Yablon joined Nova Southeastern University’s Network Operations team as the University’s Network Security Administrator; managing Check Point firewalls and deploying a campus-wide wireless solution for students and faculty.  He also stepped up as Acting Manager of Network Operations for a time.  While at Nova, he was selected as the project lead on a joint venture NSU/Broward County call center to service the county's voters in real time during the 2001 Presidential elections.  

 

In 2002, Mr. Yablon rejoined the New York Life Insurance Company's South Florida General Office as a Lead Technology Consultant and manager of the South Florida Field Technology Support Program.  He was responsible for the day-to-day IT management of hardware and software for all Agents and employees linked to the South Florida General Office.  During his consultancy with New York Life, Mr. Yablon served as a liasion to the corporate headquarters on agency expansion matters and was instrumental in the development of IT programs for several other companies in the South Florida area.

 

In 2007, after serving the company as a consultant for two years, Mr. Yablon joined Sandow Media Corporation in Boca Raton as the Vice President of Information Technology.  He was responsible for building Sandow Media’s core computing infrastructure, security, eCommerce platform, and communications infrastructure which scaled from twenty employees to well over three hundred fifty.  He managed a team of nine support & engineering professionals and external subject matter experts.  During his tenure with Sandow Media, the company blossomed, acquired more than eight competing organizations, grew to more than $100,000,000 in revenue, and opened offices in Florida, New York, Texas, and North Carolina. 

 

In 2010, Mr. Yablon joined Forward Industries, as Executive Director of Information Technology & Chief Information Officer, responsible for all day-to-day IT systems, management, and expansion projects.  Mr. Yablon redesigned, consolidated, and upgraded all Forward’s core computing systems including email, telecommunications, global connectivity, and file distribution systems.  He implemented a global MPLS network, dramatically increasing global exchange of design, sales, and management ideas.  He also built & revitalized technology deployed in offices in California, Dubai, Europe, Switzerland, and Hong Kong, Poland, and Germany.

 

In 2011, Mr. Yablon joined Uniform Advantage as the Senior Administrator of Networks & Security.   He was responsible for UA's LAN/WAN infrastructure, support, architecture, engineering, and virtualization projects.  He spearheaded several initiatives including a corporate physical-to-virtual platform migration and thin client computing initiatives.  After being promoted to Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations in 2014, he grew the ITOPS department and assumed responsibilty of many of the company's global expansion projects both at home in the US as well as in the Caribbean.  Mr. Yablon participated at an executive level on the company's strategic mission and vision project as well as serving on the total compensation committee.

in 2016, Mr. Yablon was engaged by Ardent Management Consulting, a highly specialized solutions delivery group based in Reston, VA, to manage and support a massive software defined network environment hosting applications and services for the US Government.  He is currently working wirth Ardent Management Colsulting to develop and manage the environment as well as participating an a large-scale effore to migrate the internal corporate infrastructure to Office365 and Microsoft Azure.

 

Brian Yablon holds a BA from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida and resides in the Virginia/DC area with his wife and two sons.   He is an avid yachtsman and SCUBA diver.
